Dr. Kumar is a diplomat of the American Board of Radiology, specializing in Vascular and Interventional Radiology. He is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiology at Rutgers NJMS. He has broad and active clinical interests in minimally invasive therapy, including peripheral arterial disease, Critical limb ischemia and limb salvage, Y90 radioembolization for liver tumors, portal hypertension, venous disease, and radial access for peripheral interventions. Dr. Kumar has authored many peer reviewed publications and is leading several prospective studies in the Department of Interventional Radiology. He as active member of the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR).
