Gratitude and Well Wishes This Thanksgiving

November 23, 2021

Dear RBHS Students, Faculty, and Staff,

This Thanksgiving season, I wanted to make sure all of you know how extremely grateful I am for all of your continuing hard work and support this past year.

We are a community of scientists, health care professionals, administrative experts, and future practitioners who met the challenging circumstances of the past two years with extraordinary resilience. Every day, I see how your dedication enhances the quality of health care across our communities and makes the world a healthier place through innovation and the application of life-changing discoveries and treatments.

This year, as we begin to renew our cherished holiday traditions, connect once again with family and friends, and honor those we may have lost, I hope you will also take time to reflect on all that you have achieved and how far we have come together.

I also hope that as ambassadors of health and wellness, you will have opportunities to recharge and safely enjoy time with your loved ones. Please don’t forget the example you set in continuing to take necessary precautions such as wearing a mask when appropriate, washing your hands, and getting your booster shot if you are eligible.

I wish you and your loved ones good health and wellness this Thanksgiving.

Sincerely,

Brian L. Strom, MD, MPH
Chancellor, Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences
