Invitation to COVID-19 Weekly Health Briefing

Dear Rutgers Community Members, 

Please join me via Zoom for a COVID-19 Health Briefing at 9 a.m. Thursday, December 17, and then weekly each Thursday morning beginning January 7. These sessions will provide an opportunity for information sharing and clarification on COVID-19-related topics ranging from the state of the pandemic nationally and in New Jersey to health agency guidance, campus testing news, clinical updates, and other health news as relevant.

A relevant topic for our first discussion will be COVID-19 vaccines. I will be joined by Dr. Shobha Swaminathan, associate professor, Division of Infectious Diseases, Department of Medicine at the New Jersey Medical School, and the principal investigator for the Moderna Phase 3 coronavirus vaccine clinical trial at Rutgers. 

You are invited to submit questions that are related to the discussion prior to this week’s session via this survey by Wednesday, December 16. Questions may also be submitted live via the Q&A box during the update. Please note that due to time constraints, not all questions may be answered.
