An Invitation to Rutgers Day 2022

Dear Rutgers Community Members:

We are excited for the return of Rutgers Day in person, this Saturday, April 30, on our College Avenue, Cook/Douglass, and Busch campuses at Rutgers University–New Brunswick. The event is free and open to the public.

Rutgers Day is a chance to see what we’re all about and show our Rutgers pride. Faculty, students, staff, and alumni from across our schools will present programs that showcase our strengths in academics, research, athletics, culture, recreation, and community outreach. 

The programs at Rutgers Day are designed to entertain, engage, and inform people of all ages. Here are some examples of what you'll find this year:

  • Enjoy cultural programs on the College Avenue Campus, including the Global Village, cultural center offerings, and Rutgers Athletics.
  • Visit the new Health Village on the Busch Campus where we showcase more than 65 of our health and wellness initiatives under way at Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences.
  • While on the Busch Campus, also be sure to check out the engineering technology demonstrations and activities, and learn about the latest in the world of business and entrepreneurship.
  • Take part in the New Jersey Folk Festival, which celebrates its 48th year on the Douglass Campus, and Ag Field Day, a century-old Rutgers tradition, which continues on the Cook Campus.

Visit the Rutgers Day website for information on all the programs and exhibits and join us in welcoming alumni, friends, family, and community members from across New Jersey and beyond back to campus.

And THANK YOU to everyone who helps make this day possible. This event requires an enormous amount of coordination and cooperation across units and schools and demonstrates the best of our community working together.
