Our Transformative Investment in Cancer Research and Care
November 9, 2023
Dear Rutgers Health Community:
Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey, the state’s only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, in partnership with RWJBarnabas Health, New Jersey’s largest academic health system, is making transformative new investments to conquer cancer through groundbreaking research and personalized, compassionate patient care. These investments include a new cancer hospital in New Brunswick, the MacMillan Center of Excellence at CINJ, and other cancer-related initiatives throughout the health system and Rutgers Health.
At Rutgers Health, we have a proven track record of translating discoveries into clinical practice, and our continued investment in cancer research and care will further enhance and strengthen our ability to deliver the most advanced, comprehensive, and compassionate cancer care to patients closer to home.
Together, as a team, we are transforming cancer research and care to better support our communities, our region, and to change the trajectory of cancer for patients and their loved ones right here in New Jersey and beyond.
We invite you to watch this video, featuring survivors, supporters, and leaders, which shares the impact of our investment, our collective vision for the future, and all that we hope to accomplish together.
It will take all of us to make this vision a reality. Thank you for being part of this incredible work. To learn more visit TranformingCancerTogether.org.
