Sharing Our Progress: One Year Anniversary of RBHS Strategic Plan
April 27, 2023
Dear RBHS community,
We are delighted to recognize the one-year anniversary of One RBHS: The Way Forward, our Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences strategic plan, with an update on our implementation progress to-date.
The one-year anniversary serves not only as an important milestone in the implementation phase, but also as an opportunity for our community to learn about the many ways the plan is creating momentum as we look forward to the RBHS 10th anniversary. From developing our core missions to breaking ground on new and updated physical spaces, year one in our strategic plan implementation has been truly impactful thanks to you and your participation.
We invite you to revisit the strategic plan to learn about the vision for our path ahead. On the newly updated website, you can explore accomplishments so far, strategic themes and goals, and messages from us and President Holloway. We also invite you to get to know our nine goal committees—the people shaping the implementation of the plan at every level and area of RBHS. A special thank you to all the committee and subcommittee members and their chairs, and other members of the implementation team working behind the scenes, for their tremendous contributions.
As you delve into “One RBHS: The Way Forward,” you will note that at the core of our plan is the idea that the whole is greater than the sum of our parts. By acting as one, we will be able to set a new standard for excellence in health sciences education, research and innovation, patient care, and community service. Thank you for your commitment to excellence as we continue to make positive change for RBHS through the implementation of our plan.
Sincerely,
