Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences and RWJBarnabas Health are pleased to announce the 2020 Rutgers Rising Star scholars.
Rising Star Scholars are selected based on academic achievement, excellence in discovery, innovation and entrepreneurship, and commitment to our community. All applicants must be a student of Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School or Rutgers New Jersey Medical School who have committed to joining the Rutgers Health or RWJBarnabas Health system as an employed clinician at the completion of their Rutgers Health‐based residency or fellowship. Awardees receive $20,000 annually, for each year they remain employed by Rutgers or RWJBarnabas Health, up to ten years and a total of a $200,000 benefit to each Rising Star.
