New Jersey Medical School (NJMS) and Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (RWJMS) are preparing for full Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) accreditation to create the Rutgers School of Medicine. As we work to integrate these two historic campuses, we're building a stronger medical education program well-equipped to meet the challenges of the future.
An accreditation site visit will occur in January 2027, with the earliest accreditation date in June 2027. Within this site, you can find updates and follow the process.
