2025 Rutgers Health Chancellor Awards Nominations

Dear Colleagues, 

We are pleased to announce that nominations are now being accepted for the sixth annual Rutgers Health Chancellor Awards. The nomination period is open until end of business day, June 2, 2025. In case you missed it, the 2024 Rutgers Health Chancellor Awards Ceremony pictures and lists of past award recipients can also be found on the website.

These awards recognize and highlight the extraordinary work of Rutgers Health faculty and staff. The individual awardees will be honored during a celebration in fall 2025 and receive a recognition plaque and an honorarium (Note: team award honorarium will be dispersed to support the team’s project or ongoing work).

Please visit the Rutgers Health Chancellor Awards web page for detailed information about the award categories, eligibility criteria, and the nomination requirements. Nominations must come from within Rutgers Health schools or units and may not be initiated within or supported by members of the Chancellor’s Office. Deans, Directors, and other direct reports to the Chancellor are not eligible; Chancellor’s Office staff, including staff of the Senior Vice Chancellors and Vice Chancellors, are also not eligible.

Current year nominees for faculty, staff, or team awards cannot be recipients of an award in any category in the prior three years, but renominations from prior years are welcome. A person can only be nominated in one category per year. All nominees must have completed a minimum of 3 years at Rutgers Health/RBHS and accomplishments should be limited to work completed at Rutgers Health/RBHS that may build on work done beforehand. Some categories of awards require longer time in service at Rutgers/RBHS as detailed in each award eligibility criteria. Importantly, a nomination is, by definition, a special thank you regardless of whether the nominee is selected.
