Academic Affairs & Research

Rutgers University stands as one of America's largest, most comprehensive university-based centers for studying and improving human health and health care. The Office of the Senior Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Research is responsible for fulfilling the education, faculty development, and research missions of Rutgers Health.

Academic Affairs and Research includes the offices of the vice chancellors for Academic Affairs, Diversity and Inclusion, Faculty Development, and Research and Research Training, as well as the RBHS Provosts for New Brunswick and Newark. The office supports the schools, faculty, staff, and students of Rutgers Health and serves as a hub for academic and research activities, many of which are coordinated by the individual schools and specific centers and institutes.

Faculty Affairs

Faculty Affairs includes the offices of the RBHS Provosts, Diversity and Inclusion, and Faculty Development. The offices implement campus-wide initiatives, improve the community's experience, and facilitate the recruitment and appointment, promotion, and retention of faculty.

Academic and Student Affairs

Academic and Student Affairs is responsible for registration, academic records, and graduation-related activities. It serves a resource for students and the entire community for Title IX compliance, training and reporting, as well as disability services and support for victims of interpersonal violence.

The Office of Research serves as a hub for the Rutgers Health research enterprise, responsible for facilitating the complex operations and initiatives across our schools, centers, and institutes.
