Integration Update: December 2025

December 9, 2025

We are pleased to share several integration updates:

Activities for Accreditation Are Ongoing

The Self-Study Committee continues its work on completing the Data Collection Instrument (DCI) for review. The DCI will inform the development of the Self-Study Report, which outlines institutional strengths and opportunities for improvement. Two external consultants will review the mock DCI and Self-Study Report in April and again in August, prior to the submission of materials. An on-site mock survey visit will occur from November 29 to December 2, 2026, in preparation for the official site visit scheduled for January 11–13, 2027.

Cohort 3 Task Forces Make Recommendations

Cohort 3 of the Integration Task Forces has been hard at work focusing on four key areas:

  • MD and PhD Programs
  • Medical Student Activities
  • Governance
  • Primary Care

The Integration Task Forces are organized around cross-cutting issues of importance. The Integration Advisory Committee relies on these task forces to provide meaningful input to the LCME self-study process and to other important areas. Each task force has equal representation from both campuses and is composed of faculty, staff, and students.
